For this medium, becoming aware of Spirit has been a humbling journey. My wide-eyed view of the ‘coolness’ of Spirit communication has been replaced by a sense of caution, particularly with regard to the welfare of sitters and those in Spirit.
Over the years, I have learned that the process is so much more than ‘coolness’. It is about linking souls, living and passed, in a meaningful and direct way. And in doing so, allowing healing to occur at all levels of the human experience.
Sitting with a medium should be a factual interaction where information relevant to the sitter and their loved one in Spirit is shared. This information is the sitter’s validation that the medium is indeed bringing through their loved one.
One of the most popular queries a sitter will have is, are their deceased loved ones okay? The answer is always yes. When we pass we are met by our families and loved ones, not to mention our Spirit team.
No soul ever crosses alone.
However, it is not enough to state ‘yes, they are okay’. Evidence of survival must be brought through. This can be, though not exclusively; personality traits, physical appearance, names, dates or perspectives on current affairs in the family.
Loved ones, including pets, bring through others in Spirit too. For instance, a deceased grandmother may bring through her husband or other family members connected to the sitter.
All of these connections are a form of communication I once thought cool. Today, I regard it as sacred. It is evidence that we are never truly separated. That our lives do matter. That we belong.
